They say he was cursed By his own undeadness That Jesus lives And Jesus forgives I can't blame them at all I can't fault them their words But my whole pain Is my pain alone Larm of my heart In a golden mirror The sweat of my dreams On a moon kissed flower In my line of work You get all this for free Your own cross to bear And your own disease
2.
Why don't you love me? Why don't you come when I signal you to come? Why don't you clear the empty space You stand upon And greet me once again? I found a ruin With your dark treasure scattered and released I shine my light upon the dirty prize you won And left me here to see What, it is me Swallowed in the belly of the beast What, it is me Swallowed in the belly of the beast Why don't you love me? Why don't you come when I signal you to come? Come repair the destruction you've veneered upon My weeping, frightened ghost I saw your body With her shape still considered to perverse Ma, you defile every broken mile you turn And leave me in my dreams When I approach the fire I expect it to be warm But the light's fickle witness offers nothing at all

The kids are stoned No one's really home The next time you come around You better bring someone along Here I was a ranger With many faces, many names Here I was your man And I was doing my job well I was Stephen Yasuda A new dog in the house of wolves I was a redmaned beast Playing in your pool I was lonely Satan In a sketch by Dore I was bound for Yharnam Bu I was frozen right here And the Verona Rupes They crown my head well I am the prettiest thing Ever thrown into hell But I had fire in my belly I had gold in my eyes I had everything going For one last drive But I'll never make it The domestlc flight I'm trying to reach Something right outta my sight

In the midst of my surrender Or some say defeat My weakness was you The offender was me We sang i know who you are We sang calling all cars We sang can't nobody love me On our first day apart We sang blood on the leaves Where do I belong? We sang make me a body And fill it with song We sang wisps of the twilight Unhappy, as unhappy as one can be While room service's due For 253 And the course of all rubbish That floats down the line There's poison in the river Of expendable time We sang Tristan and Isolde Abelard and Heloise We sang Romeo and Juliet Dante and Beatrice We sang for love and for freedom And to play it as you like For Jimmy Paulette on David's bike Cause I demand your attention I shall be released I have nothing more to say If you have nothing more to give We sang the lights are out But the power is on Mister Badii lost in the hills of Tehran And i wish I was home In my mother's arms With soup in my belly And peace in my heart From that damp, murky corner Where my character's stuck Where there's footprints of writers Who all gave up We sang long road to perdition Put the car in reverse The headlights don't lie They are coming for us In the backseat I'm smoking Monte Christo cigars Clutching this treasure tight in my arms Are you pushing it Jimmy? Is this as fast as goes? I can't hold it much longer I already know They say once it goes quiet It is ready to blow You see a faint, ghastly shimmer Or a skeleton glow Or dead, broken eyes Or a dead, broken heart Or mist in the morning Our first day apart Or walk slowly baby The ice is so thin I should know Cause i've been breaking it in I've been breaking it in For my whole damn life For a place to bury All that glimmers and shines But the same things melt In the heat of the sun The same things crumble When you get up to run And my hands are totems Of what has slipped between My typing fingers As I've tried to decieve My audience and peers At the grand premiere Of the play of shadows At the Lumiere's I said nothing for me I am ready to go My driver's out back Were hitting the road Were hitting the road With no end in sight With nowhere ahead And nothing behind And the radio plays Strange is the Tide As i lay down to close My tired old eyes And as i lay down to close My tired old eyes The radio plays Strange is time

about

Vigebo at his most confrontational. A Rabbit in The Wolf House is his most tightly packed album to date.A domestlc flight which explores the relationship between Thomas and Tom, and the struggle to force the other into submission.

The album was written and produced beginning in September 2021, and finished June 2022. This is a testament to the bondage of self-expectations.
